A different format on a return trip: two therapists, a longer hour or an overnight

The first booking is almost always the plain one. An hour, one therapist, oil or sensual massage, arranged on the day or the day before. It is the booking that asks least of the room and least of the guest, which is exactly why people start there. A return trip is the natural point to change one thing, and most of the questions the house receives from regulars are really about which thing to change. This guide works through the options with the rate row for each, because on a return trip the figure and the deposit rule shift as much as the evening does.

Before choosing: change one thing at a time

Guests who change the length, the format and the number of therapists all at once on the same trip tend to come away unsure which change they liked. Guests who move one step at a time learn something from each trip. That is not a rule of the house, only an observation from a great many return bookings, and it shapes the order of this guide: from a small change to a large one.

A longer session with the same format

Ninety minutes instead of sixty

The gentlest step is length. Ninety minutes is 270 euros against 180 for the hour. The start of any session, when the room is arranged and a few words are exchanged, takes about the same time whatever the booking, so moving from sixty to ninety minutes adds half an hour almost entirely to the unhurried part. For a returning client booking on the day at an address in central Amsterdam, ninety minutes is still paid entirely at the door. Booked more than a day ahead, 135 euros goes first and 135 at the door.

Two hours

Two hours, at 360 euros, suits an evening with nothing after it: no early flight, no late call, no need to be anywhere by eleven. It is also the length at which formats with preparation at either end, such as nuru with its warm gel and rinse or soapy with its shower, start to feel unhurried. Two hours is the longest session a returning client can still pay entirely at the door when booking on the day at a city address. Booked ahead, 180 goes first.

Three hours and more

Three hours, at 540 euros, is where the payment rule changes for every guest. A session of three hours or longer carries half ahead, whether it is booked a week before or an hour before, first booking or twentieth. So 270 goes before she sets out and 270 at the door. Each hour past the third adds 180 to the figure and half of that to the deposit. Guests who book three hours usually do it for a particular evening on a particular trip, and it is worth writing a day or two ahead for it, since a three hour window in one woman's diary is easier to find with notice.

A different format for the same length

The alternative to a longer session is a different kind of session at the length you already know. The formats page describes each one; here is how they look from the point of view of a guest who has booked once.

• Body to body massage stays with oil but alters the contact. It sits closest to a first sensual booking and is a frequent second step.
• Nuru uses a warm gel instead of oil and needs a shower you would be glad to use afterwards, which makes the bathroom of this trip's room part of the decision.
• Tantra is slower and more deliberate, and it rarely makes sense in less than ninety minutes.
• Soapy massage starts in the bathroom, so it depends on having a shower or bath with room for two people.

None of these changes the figure. A format is priced by length, so ninety minutes of nuru costs what ninety minutes of oil costs. None of them changes the deposit rule either. In every case, the therapist says at the start what the session includes and where her limits are, and she decides. A format name describes an approach, not a list of promises, and a guest who books tantra because a friend described one particular evening should expect his own evening to be shaped by the woman in the room, not by the friend's account.

Two therapists at once

Booking two therapists together, often called a four hands massage, is the step that changes the arrangement a great deal while keeping the length familiar. The figure doubles: 360 euros for an hour, 540 for ninety minutes, 720 for two hours. And the payment rule changes without exception. Two therapists at once carry half ahead on every booking, same day or not, returning client or not. An hour with two therapists sends 180 before they set out and 180 at the door.

A few practical points come up with this format and not with others.

• Both women have to be free at the same hour, so a request for two particular names is harder to fill on the day than a request for one. Naming one woman and asking who is free alongside her is the easier route.
• The room needs space for three people to move around a bed without it feeling cramped. A narrow single room in an older canal house may not suit it.
• Each woman sets her own limits at the start. Two therapists do not share one set of limits between them.

Guests often ask whether two therapists is simply twice as much of the first evening. It is a different evening. Some regulars book it once and go back to one therapist; some make it the booking they plan each trip around.

Bringing a partner

A return trip is sometimes the first on which a guest brings someone. A couple can book one therapist to share, at 360 euros an hour, or a therapist each, at 720 an hour. Both people present must be twenty-one or over and may be asked to show it at the door. A couple's booking follows the same deposit rule as any other: paid at the door on a same-day hour or two in the city for a returning client, half ahead otherwise. The overnight

Furthest along the list is the eight hour overnight, fixed at 1,250 euros for one guest and one therapist. It is a block, not an hourly rate running through the night, and it carries half ahead on every booking: 625 before she sets out, 625 at the door. With two therapists the overnight is 2,880; a couple sharing one therapist pays 2,500; a couple with a therapist each pays 5,760. Each of those carries half ahead too.

An overnight is usually planned from home rather than on the day, for three reasons. A free night in one woman's diary is far easier to find with notice. The trip itself needs to leave room for it: an overnight followed by a seven o'clock meeting is not an evening anyone enjoys. And the start and finish times are written into the booking, so they need to be known. Guests who have only ever booked an hour are sometimes surprised by how much of an overnight is simply rest and quiet, and that is part of what the format is for.

The rate rows, side by side

With one guest, the figures are:

• one therapist: 180 an hour, 270 for ninety minutes, 360 for two hours, 540 for three, 1,250 for the overnight;
• two therapists: 360 an hour, 540 for ninety minutes, 720 for two hours, 1,080 for three, 2,880 for the overnight.

With a couple, the figures are:

• one therapist shared: 360 an hour, 540 for ninety minutes, 720 for two hours, 1,080 for three, 2,500 for the overnight;
• a therapist each: 720 an hour, 1,080 for ninety minutes, 1,440 for two hours, 2,160 for three, 5,760 for the overnight.

Every profile on the roster carries the same table. The figures do not move with the hour, the day or the number of trips a guest has made.

Which rows are paid at the door, and which carry half

For a returning client booking on the day at an address in central Amsterdam, the door rule covers one therapist, for one guest or a couple sharing her, at one hour, ninety minutes or two hours. Everything else on the table carries half ahead: any row with two therapists, any row at three hours or more, and every overnight. Booking any row more than twenty-four hours ahead, at Schiphol or an airport hotel, or on a peak date also carries half ahead.

When a deposit applies, it is half of the figure in that row, paid by card, Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency to details that appear only in the confirmed thread. Payments by bank transfer or PayPal are not accepted for it. The rest is settled at the door.

If the new format is cancelled

Larger bookings carry larger deposits, so it is worth knowing the scale before planning one. More than twenty-four hours before the start, all of the deposit comes back. Inside the final day, before she has left, half the deposit is kept as fee already earned and half is repaid. After she has set off, it is kept. If the time is taken by someone else, all of it is repaid, and if you can show the house lost less than it kept, only that smaller amount is kept. On an overnight at 1,250 cancelled at lunchtime on the day, that means 312.50 kept and 312.50 repaid. One free move to another date is possible when asked for more than twenty-four hours ahead and the new date falls within fourteen days. The cancellation policy goes through every case.

A way to plan a year of trips

A regular who visits four times a year might keep three of those trips simple, a same-day ninety minutes paid at the door, and use the fourth for one change planned from home: two hours of a format he has not tried, or two therapists for an hour, or an overnight. The one planned change carries half ahead; the others do not. That pattern suits most people who have written to the house more than once, because it keeps the familiar evening familiar and gives each change the room it needs.
